Southeastern Engineering’s Quality Policy begins with our AS9100/ISO 9001 registered Quality Management System. This system requires accountability from contract award through product manufacturing and final delivery. Our philosophy is Quality must be inherent in the planning phase, executed in the manufacturing process and demonstrated in the final application of the product.

Southeastern Engineering’s Quality Control utilizes state of the art inspection equipment and techniques to monitor and objectively evaluate the success of each process. Our Quality control lab is environmentally controlled to optimize the repeatability of the inspection process. Our inspection team utilizes a programmable Brown & Sharpe CMM and a programmable Micro Vu Vertex 220 smart scope to perform and document detailed inspection processes. In addition our micrometers, calipers, plug/ring gauges and gage blocks are traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (N.I.S.T) in Washington, D.C.

Southeastern Engineering’s Quality Assurance begins with documentation review and finishes with specification compliance. Contracts, drawings, electronic files and inspection data are reviewed in detail. Quality clauses and requirements are flowed down to vendors in accordance with drawing specification and contract Quality directives.
